Visiting the doctor is never fun for any of us but this is exceptionally true when it comes to kids. With annual exams that are comprised of multiple vaccinations it’s hard to blame kids for having bad feelings toward doctors.

Many doctors have found that entertaining kids in the waiting room is the easiest way to alleviate the anxiety and have an easy happy visit. By offering games that put kids in a good mood or increasing social interaction with other kids it helps the visit go smoothly. Even though a waiting room may not seem like a play area, that is what the future holds for pediatricians.

After all, just like any successful business, it’s important to cater to your paying customers. And parents go where their are happiest and feel the most comfortable.
